Composition 2011

The purpose of this Composition Competition is to select a work for violin and orchestra that will be the compulsory work in the final of the Violin 2012 Competition. The choice is made by an international jury. This Competition does not include any public rounds, but the winning work will be performed at the Centre for Fine Arts (Palais des Beaux-Arts) by the 12 finalists in the Violin Competition during the week of 21 to 26 May 2012.

The jury : Arie Van Lysebeth (Chairman), Chin Unsuk, Michael Jarrell, Bruno Mantovani, Peter Swinnen, Frederik van Rossum.

The prize of €10,000 is donated by the SABAM
