Anna Vinnitskaya est née en 1983 à Novorossiisk en Russie, de parents pianistes. Elle débute le piano à 6 ans avec sa mère, et donne son premier récital à 9 ans. Après des études avec Sergei Ossipenko au Conservatoire Serge Rachmaninov de Rostov-sur-le-Don, elle est remarquée par Ralf Nattkemper à un concours de piano. Il l’invite à la Hochschule für Musik und Theater de Hambourg, où elle commence à travailler avec Evgeni Koroliov en octobre 2002. En 2009, elle devient à son tour professeur de piano à la HfMT de Hambourg.
Anna Vinnitskaya a remporté plusieurs compétitions internationales, notamment le Premier Prix du Concours Reine Elisabeth en 2007 et le Prix Leonard Bernstein au festival de musique du Schleswig-Holstein en 2008. Elle est souvent l’invitée d’orchestres réputés, parmi lesquels le Philharmonique de Munich, l’Orchestre Symphonique de la Radio de Berlin, les orchestres symphoniques de la NDR et de la SWR, le Royal Philharmonic, le Philharmonique d’Israël, le Philharmonique du Luxembourg, l’Orchestre National de Belgique et l’Orchestre Symphonique de la KBS de Séoul. Elle a travaillé avec des chefs d’orchestre tels que Charles Dutoit, Vladimir Fedosseïev, Louis Langrée, Marek Janowski, Emmanuel Krivine, Kyrill Petrenko, Juraj Valcuha, Dmitri Jurowski, Alan Buribayev, Pietari Inkinen et Gilbert Varga. Elle cultive une entente particulière avec ce dernier depuis la finale du Concours Reine Elisabeth.
Elle est ovationnée par les publics du monde entier dans ses récitals solo et est l’invitée de festivals aussi prestigieux que ceux du Schleswig-Holstein, de Rheingau, de Verbier et de La Roque d’Anthéron. Depuis 2009 et pour trois saisons, Anna Vinnitskaya est l’une des artistes de la série de concerts ‘Junge Wilde’ au Konzerthaus de Dortmund.
Le premier CD d’Anna Vinnitskaya, rassemblant des œuvres de Rachmaninov, Gubaidulina, Medtner et Prokofiev est sorti chez Naïve en avril 2009. Cet enregistrement a été récompensé d’un ‘Diapason d’Or Découverte’ et d’un ‘Choc du Mois’ du magazine Classica. Il a été également désigné ‘CD des Doppelmonats’ par le magazine allemand Piano News et nommé aux Midem Classical Awards.

Anna Vinnitskaya stamt uit een Russisch gezin van pianisten (1983, Novorossiisk). Op zesjarige leeftijd begon ze met pianolessen bij haar moeder en drie jaar later gaf ze haar eerste recital. Na studies bij Sergei Ossipenko in het Sergey Rachmaninov Conservatorium van Rostov-op-Don, werd ze tijdens een pianowedstrijd opgemerkt door Ralf Nattkemper. Hij nodigde haar uit naar de Hochschule für Musik und Theater van Hamburg, waar ze met Evgeni Koroliov begon te werken in oktober 2002. In 2009 werd ze er zelf docent piano.
Anna Vinnitskaya heeft verschillende topprijzen op internationale wedstrijden weggekaapt, waaronder de Eerste Prijs op de Koningin Elisabethwedstrijd in 2007, en ze mocht in 2008 de Leonard Bernstein Prijs van het festival van Schleswig-Holstein in ontvangst nemen. Ze wordt uitgenodigd door gerenommeerde orkesten, zoals de Münchner Philharmoniker, de Symfonisch Orkesten van de Radio van Berlijn, de NDR en de SWR, de Royal Philharmonic, de Filharmonische Orkesten van Israël en Luxemburg, het Nationaal Orkest van België en het Symfonisch Orkest van de KBS van Seoel. Ze heeft gewerkt met dirigenten als Charles Dutoit, Vladimir Fedosseïev, Louis Langrée, Marek Janowski, Emmanuel Krivine, Kyrill Petrenko, Juraj Valcuha, Dmitri Jurowski, Alan Buribayev, Pietari Inkinen en Gilbert Varga. Met deze laatste heeft er zich een bijzondere verstandhouding ontwikkeld sinds de finale van de Koningin Elisabethwedstrijd.
Haar recitals kennen wereldwijd een enthousiast publiek en ze wordt op prestigieuze festivals als die van Schleswig-Holstein, Rheingau, Verbier en La Roque d’Anthéron even warm onthaald. Sinds 2009 is Anna Vinnitskaya voor drie seizoenen aan de serie ‘Junge Wilde’ in het Konzerthaus van Dortmund verbonden.
Haar eerste cd, met werk van Rachmaninov, Gubaidulina, Medtner en Prokofiev, werd in april 2009 uitgebracht bij Naïve. De opname werd bekroond met een ‘Diapason d’Or Découverte’ en een ‘Choc du Mois’ van het tijdschrift Classica. In het Duitse tijdschrift Piano News werd de schijf benoemd tot ‘CD des Doppelmonats’. Hij werd ook genomineerd voor de Midem Classical Awards.

Anna Vinnitskaya was born in Novorossijsk, into a family of musicians. She got her first piano lessons at the age of six and played her first full solo recital at the age of nine. Three years later their family moved to Rostov on Don, so that she could study with Sergej Ossipenko at the Sergej Rachmaninov conservatoire. During a piano competition in the year 2001 Ralf Nattkemper invited her to the “Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg“. Since 2002 she has been studying there with Evgeni Koroliov.
Anna Vinnitskaya has received the “Leonard Bernstein Award” 2008 of the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival and she is the winner of the Queen Elizabeth Competition 2007 in Brussels. This was the last of various prizes she has won at international piano competitions. She won her first international piano competition in 1996 at the 3rd international youth competition in Moscow and is among others the winner ot the 44th “Premio Jaén de Piano” (Spain 2002) and laureate of the “Busoni” - competition (Bolzano/Italy 2005).
Anna Vinnitskaya has performed at several festivals, e.g. the Verbier Festival, the Schleswig- Holstein Music Festival, the Rheingau Music Festival, the Orpheum Musik Festival Zürich, the Davos Festival, the “Festival de Radio France“ Montpellier and the Lille Piano Festival. She has played in most European countries and the USA, Israel, Japan and Hong Kong. As from the 09/10 season she performs for three seasons in the series “Junge Wilde” of the Konzerthaus Dortmund.
As a soloist, Anna Vinnitskaya has performed with such well-known orchestras as the Münchner Philharmoniker, the Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin, the NDR and SWR Symphony Orchestras, the Royal Philharmonic, the Israel Philharmonic, the Luxembourg Philharmonic, the Belgian National Orchestra, and the KBS Symphony Orchestra Seoul. Conductors with whom she has worked include Charles Dutoit, Vladimir Fedoseyev, Louis Langrée, Marek Janowski, Emmanuel Krivine, Kyrill Petrenko, Juraj Valcuha, Dimitri Jurowski, Alan Buribayev, Pietari Inkinen, and Gilbert Varga. She has enjoyed a particularly close rapport with the last-named ever since the final round of the Queen Elisabeth International Music Competition.
Anna Vinnitskaya’s debut CD, a programme of works by Rachmaninoff, Gubaidulina, Medtner and Prokofiev, was released on Naïve in April 2009. The recording was awarded the ‘Diapason d’Or Découverte’ and a ‘Choc du Mois’ in the magazine Classica. It was also chosen as ‘CD des Doppelmonats’ in the magazine Piano News and nominated for a Midem Classical Award in the Solo Instrumental category.
